The Minnesota Chapter of the International Association of Arson Investigators (MNIAAI) is conducted a survey to see what the public believes about someone intentionally setting a fire. This survey was conducted on-line and at the Minnesota State Fair August 24th, 2007 and is believed to be the first effort of its kind in the State of Minnesota and in the country. The surveys were created jointly by Angie Carlson, PhD and the Arson Awareness Committee of the MNIAAI. It is our hope that we will be able to collect good data on what people think about arson in Minnesota and around the country. Our goal is to use this data to fight the crime of arson.
