Second, I would like to recognize outgoing President, Jim Iammatteo, for his hard work and dedication to this association. Those that have come before us, have put in their blood, sweat, and tears to pave the way for our association.

As with anyone that gets into a new position, I am in the process of getting membership input, reviewing the way our association runs, and looking for better ways to do our business. I am open and very much welcome input. if anyone has any good ideas on how we can better serve our members, please send me an email.

Please join us and stay up to date on what is happening in our chapter, by periodically checking back at our web site: www.mniaai.org and following us on Facebook: MNIAAI, or MN IAAI Members. The fire investigation field is constantly changing, both technically and legally. We as a team will work tirelessly for our membership, to continue providing quality relevant training to both our public and private sector members. If any member or visitor to this site has suggestions on possible future training topics, please reach out to our Training and Education Committee Chair – Brian Whitemore This email address is being protected from spambots. As fire investigators, we work in a small community. I hope all of you see the benefits of belonging to our chapter. Not only to receive quality training, but as a means to network with other investigators, and talk about current trends in our field. One goal as investigators should be to stay educated and current on all topics of fire investigation. I believe we at the Minnesota Chapter are able to accomplish this on a regular basis. I encourage you to invite other investigators of the fire investigation community to consider becoming members our organization.

Sincerely,

Casey D. Stotts

MNIAAI President
